Privacy
1. Introduction Protecting users' privacy is important to Monforte S.r.l., Dynasquare's producer and product site manager. This document provides information regarding the treatment of personal information used by Monforte S.r.l., according to the article 13 del D.lgs. n.196/2003 of Italian law, and in particular regarding the kind of information collected, the way it is used and the subjects with whom information is shared. The document herein also provides further information on how a user can contact us with any questions or receive any further information. This document regarding Privacy is applicable to information collected by Monforte S.r.l. (hereby referred to as "Monforte"). In order to let users understand the ways in which we provide and transmit information, the following guidelines have been created. 2. Why Monforte may collect information It is generally possible to visit the official Dynasquare website (www.Dynasquare.it is the link to the homepage of the site) without having to provide any personal information. In some cases, however, the lack of necessary personal information in the section regarding the request for data as well as in other pages of the website, could result in Monforte not being able to sell products and/or provide certain services, including post-sales assistance.
3. What kind of information is collected and the purpose of collected information "Personal information" is defined as any information regarding a person that can be used to identify that person, such as name, age, telephone number, email address or home address. Monforte means to collect, hold and use it personal information for the following purposes: -To fulfill any contractual obligations relating to sales or other kinds of contracts that a user has agreed upon with Monforte -To provide assistance to its clientele, including services related to Monforte's business, such as warranties and post-sales -To have a customer opinion regarding Monforte's products or services and to conduct surveys regarding products -To meet the needs of searches and information requests about Monforte and its products and services -To provide information regarding the most recent Monforte products and services, including updates and special offers -To improve Monforte products and services -To carry out prize drawings, organize prize contests and other promotional offers -To evaluate the possibility of hiring personnel whose information is requested on webpages dedicated to job opportunities Monforte S.r.l. will use your personal information exclusively for the above-mentioned purposes, and will be bound to respect the strict policies and conditions regarding the protection and treatment of personal information.
4. How Monforte collects personal information Monforte collects data in several ways. It is deemed necessary to ask for information or references when messages are sent to Monforte, or via telephone when products or services are purchased or assistance is requested. The following are common ways in which Monforte collects personal information. - When a user registers a Monforte product or service, we collect the name, addess and product name or model, etc. from the user. - When users apply to our client service to receive assistance, we register the user name, the product(s) purchased, the technical specifications and the advice the user was given, etc. - When one of our products is purchased, or a purchase request is made, we register the user's name, contact information, the product that the user would like to purchase or that has been purchased and the request that has been made. In the case of online purchase, an account is created that includes the payment of the product and the delivery preferences. A credit inspection may be carried out in the case that a product or service is purchased. - When a user would like to participate in the online community, we need to register the user's information and content preferences in their account. Some of our websites permit some customization of content based on user interests; in this case we register these preferences. - A recording will be kept of any information and references for all financial transactions related to assistance. The information collected online may also be added to data Monforte has been provided with in other circumstances. For example, during product registration, calls to our call centers or in the event of public events such as trade fairs or publicity events. Personal information Monforte has been provided with in these cases may be combined with existing and filed databases, in order to streamline our client information management system. 5. User preferences Personal information that we collect may be stored in several databases. Monforte does their utmost to keep various user preferences in consideration which users may express in a timely manner concerning the use of their own information in an appropriate manner. If, for any reason, the user were to receive erroneous information, the Monforte Client Service can be contacted to make the appropriate corrections. 6. When Monforte may divulge personal information Monforte will not divulge your personal information to third parties without your explicit consent, with the exception of the following cases: Personal information may be divulged to third parties that are sub-contacting parties in order to carry out contracts or for other purposes stated in article 4. Monforte may use other companies to accomplish tasks on their account, such as completing orders, delivering packages, sending mail and email, providing marketing assistance, processing credit card payments and providing customer service. These companies will have access to the personal information necessary to carry out these purposes, but will not be able to utilize that information for other purposes and will be required to handle that information according to the relevant laws. Personal information may be divulged to third parties to allow Monforte to perform the duties of the law to which Monforte itself is subject. Generic or anonymous data (including "generic" statistics) that are unidentifiable are exempt from restrictions regarding its use, its treatment, as well as the divulgation and transmission of personal information. 7. Message board messages Messages sent on Monforte's official website (in chat rooms, message boards or other forms of communication on message boards and forums) will generally be made available and freely accessible to other Monforte message board users. Consequently, users should keep in mind that the condition of the information they provide will not be reserved and, therefore, are invited to behave with discretion when using Monforte message boards. Furthermore, user member names will always be visible along with the user's message visible/published on the Monforte message boards. 8. Security of information collected Monforte is determined to protect personal information that it possesses and to maintain its quality. Monforte will make all reasonable attempts to assume all necessary organizational and technical measures and precautions appropriate to assure the security and protection of personal information from unauthorized or illegal access, use, modification or destruction. Measures include the use of the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol during the collection and transfer of particularly important data, such as credit card information. SSL ciphering is adopted in order to make data illegible by anyone other than Monforte. How data is protected - We limit access to personal information. This information will be accessible only to those employees that will need to obtain such information to provide products and services. - We have taken on measures to protect personal information physically, electronically and procedurally in compliance with the law. - We offer the possibility to protect account information with a password. As a rule of general internet ettiquette, please be advised not to use generic usernames and passwords. Passwords should contain a combination of letters and numbers, should be kept secret and should be changed periodically. 9. Cookies and web beacons Monforte's official website may use a technology called "cookies." They are small data files that are stored on a user's computer when accessing a website or a part of a website. Cookies help Monforte understand which part of its site is visited more often, how visitors move throughout the site, and how much time each visitor spent while on the site. Monforte uses cookies to study traffic patterns on its site in order to improve website performance and to better satisfy the interests and preferences of its visitors. For example, Monforte traces all the domains its visitors navigate and also measures the activity of Monforte sites. This recording of activity and management of tracking and patterns is carried out in a way so that data is unidentifiable. Cookies can also be utilized to recognize a user's computer the following time the site is visited. This saves time (allowing, for example, the possibility of not registering a second time) or helps personalize internet settings. Anyone who does not wish to accept cookies can disable them following their web brower instructions. We invite users to follow the instructions provided by their browser or in the online guide to find out more information regarding these functions. In Internet Explorer, for example, it is possible to go to the section Tools/Internet Options/Privacy to adapt your browser to your needs. Web beacons, also known as "single pixel," "clear gif technology" or "action tags" may also be used on our site. This technology allows us to see which visitors have clicked on a key element (such as a link or graphic) on a Monforte webpage or email. When information regarding an offer or a newsletter is requested, we may use web beacons to gauge which emails are actually opened. We use this information to improve the content of the website as well as our services. These web beacons are normally used along with cookies. If a user does not want the information regarding the cookie connected to their navigation of these webpages, the user can set their browser to deactivate cookies. In Microsoft Outlook 2003 and similar programs, downloading images can be deactivated for each site. 10. Access to personal information Users have the right, according to Italian law, art. 7 del D.lgs. 196/03, to have access to their own personal information, to correct or delete inaccuracies relating to their personal information, and to dispute the use of their personal information.
Anyone interested in seeing, corrected, modifying or updating personal information stored in Monforte's database can contact Monforte using the contact information indicated in article 12, including email, fax, telephone or mail. Because of privacy reasons, a form of identification may be requested. An explanation regarding the treatment of personal information may be given upon request, as well as confirmation that all interested parties have been notified of the request for information, modifications or cancellations. Monforte will do its best to fulfill these requests. Anyone who would like to be removed from a mailing list will need to click on the link "unsubscribe" and/or follow the indicated instructions which are usually found at the bottom of the email. If more than one email address is used to complete purchases or to contact Monforte, removal will need to be carried out on each email account used. 11. Links to other sites The Monforte website may contain links to other sites that are not managed by Monforte. Monforte does not share its personal information with these websites. Even if Monforte were to create links only to sites that assume the same high standards in privacy matters as Monforte, Monforte is not responsible for the contents, security or privacy measures taken on by other websites and expressly declines all responsibility connected to the use of said other sites and the contents of said sites.
